Weekly Photo Challenge

The Weekly Photo Challenge
Suggested by LadyLioness 1973.
From Dusk until Dawn.

I think perhaps the best photographs I have to illustrate this challenge are those I took in Bermuda whilst staying with my sister in law and her husband over Christmas and New Year 2008-9. The first Photo that you see is sunset over Whale Bay, in actual fact dusk is the period immediatly following sunset, but it would be a pity too miss this photo.

The Weekly Photo Challenge.
The wildlife living near your area.
Suggested by HereAreLinda'sPhotos.

The swan was photographed in a place called Doxey Marshes, on the outskirts of Stafford, UK. The Butterfly and Bee were taken in my garden using a macro setting on the camera. The Camera is a Panasonic Lumix LX3, which was used for the Butterfly and Bee. The Swan was taken with a Fuji Finepix S6500fd.

Seeing Double

Weekly Photo Challenge.
Suggested by
Photographics. (Seeing Double.)

It was a nice warm day today, that is for mid october, and I got on my bicycle and pedalled to Walk Mill, as I thought that one of the photos I planned to take would be OK for Seeing Double. I dismounted when I got to my favourite spot that I have nicknamed "The Cottage Across the Pond." To my delight I was able to see the cottage reflection in the pond, so I took the shot that you can see below.

Probably last of the summer photos

I spotted Coral's Orchids on the windowsill and noticed my reflection in the window, so I though it might be an interesting reflection shot and so took it.
After that I went into the Living Room and took the orchids from the inside.
